What:
Ultra Boost is a new add-on to your membership that further enhances your viewing experience to UHD, alongside our legacy HD product Boost, which you can upgrade to when you buy your Entertainment, Cinema or Sports Membership.
Goal:
The goal is to introduce Ultra-Boost as a seamless add-on, enhancing the customer journey with premium features like 4K Ultra-HD HDR streaming and Dolby Atmos sound, while clearly communicating the differences between Boost (HD) and Ultra-Boost (UHD) to drive engagement, increase satisfaction, boost attach rates, and improve conversion.
Challenges:
Designing with an inflexible CMS and no scope for improved development, including limited customisation options.
Role:
As the lead designer on this project, I collaborated closely with the Merchandising and Optimisation team
to strategise user journeys and develop testing plans.

User Testing
Focusing on the add-on journey for a day at a user testing lab session, I designed versions to highlight the differences between Boost and Ultra-Boost, aiming to assess customer comprehension, enhance decision-making, and find tune the experience based on insight.
